The hotel is located 25 minutes from the M4 and 35 minutes form the M50 on the A465 Abergavenny to Hereford road.

From the M4 turn off at Junction 24 and follow the A449 to Raglan. At Raglan follow the A40 to Abergavenny. On the roundabout at Abergavenny follow signposts A465 to Hereford. Allt Yr Ynys is about 5 miles north of Abergavenny (15 miles south of Hereford). Take the turn off to the west at the Old Pandy Inn, on the northern outskirts of Pandy village, signposted to Longtown and Allt Yr Ynys.

Follow this road under a rail bridge and over a stone bridge. The road will bend to the right and after about another 100 yards there is a right turn down a lane just before a large grey/green barn. The hotel is signposted to the right at this point and is 400 yards further down on the right, just over a stone river bridge.
